Looking Forward to 2024

We always like to end the year on a high note! The world entered a ‘golden age’ of medicine with new mRNA technology with huge potential of AI and 3D printing1, there were major breakthroughs in Alzheimer’s2 and cancer3 research, and we’re moving closer to the ‘holy grail’ of energy via nuclear fusion4. And of course, Costco’s hot dog-and-soda combo is STILL $1.50.
Overall, Americans say 2023 was a good year, and think that 2024 will be even better (see graph below)5.
Life insurance interest in a post-pandemic world is at an all-time high with 39% of consumers intending to buy life insurance next year6 while life expectancy in the U.S. continues to inch up to 80 years old7.
